What happens in a session with you?
Your session is tailored to you as an individual. Appointments usually begin with a discussion about your symptoms, injury history, and anything else that may be relevant to how your body is functioning. Assessment may include movement testing, muscle testing, and other hands-on assessment methods to help work out what patterns may be contributing to your pain or dysfunction.
Treatment is then based on what is found in the assessment. This may include corrective bodywork, remedial massage, NeuroKinetic Therapy, Optional dry needling, or other appropriate hands-on techniques
Do you offer private health fund rebates?
Yes. Private health fund rebates are available for remedial massage, depending on your level of cover.
Do you accept EFTPOS, credit card, cash?
Yes to all. Although I do ask that if you intend to pay cash, please bring the correct amount.
How can I contact you?
The best way to contact me is through email or SMS. I don’t answer calls during my sessions with clients. 0490955731 or glitchfixcorrectivebodywork@gmail.com
What do I wear to my appointment?
Most sessions are done fully clothed unless dry needling is being performed, or unless access to a particular area is needed for treatment. In general, it is best to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that you can move in easily.
When should I expect results?
With any modality you should feel some improvement after the first session. Depending on how chronic the issue is, it can take longer to solve. If an issue has been present for decades, then obviously it can take much longer than someone who has an acute issue. I understand that can be a frustrating answer. In saying that, If I cannot make any difference for you at all in 3 to 4 sessions I will be encouraging further investigation.
Do you work on children?
Yes, Generally from the age of 8 and above. I do not work with babies or infants.
Can I come if I am pregnant?
Yes, Although needling is not advised but other treatments can be given.
